Welcome

"Welcome to the festival" I say with a smile
Fooled for a moment you creep into my heart
Caverns of life, doubt lurking
A dim light
A beating pulse

Awakened you attempt to escape
Confined, my heart is your prison
Foolish enough to descend to a new level
You attempt to prove my humanity

Judged in a trail of fury
Mended is my soul, fracture my essence
Guilty of crimes not yet committed
Perceived but not yet realized
My Procession
My Progression
My Life

Fulfilled with no expectations
"Welcome to the festival" you say with a smile
