Meeting

A soft engagement, a meeting of the hearts
Solace in words, comfort in a gentle voice
I opened my heart and let my cries be heard
As I cried I felt a smile come alive in my heart
A smile from joy, I screamed the rage
And she wasn't frightened, she embraced my soul

A comforting touch reached towards my being
I took her hand and was guided
Toward a palace of joy, forged in trust
