Defiance

Crying child-Disgruntled Adult
No one told us we would have to conform
Reality is a drink for those who fit
A dreamer is a person who dares defy

We stare upward for guidance
Downward for pleasure
Inward for reason
Outward for a lie

Let us try to find the path of least resistance
“It’s easier this way”
Stop bullshitting yourself and fit
Where ever we place you
Stop thinking and just be
