Code of Honor (Song of Amercanism)

For in God our nation was founded
Religions together bonded by our independence

For in Country is the belief in equality
We are a good people, defenders of our principles

For in Self, a nation of diversity
Individuals joined in freedoms embrace

To be free is a dream
To be American a responsibility
We were the first to defeat a tyrant
With the blood of a common-man
For we hold the keys
To the history of humanity

Few men have the virtue
So serve in the name of justice
To follow our creed
And die in the pursuit
Of something as noble
As have our ancestors

We embrace our opponents
We love a good a fight
Our code allows our freedom
Our hearts insist on liberty

Understand our responsibility, if you can
We fight amongst our selves, for we must
A nation of outcasts, fighting for an ideal
For freedom, liberty and peace
