Alive Again

Hunched, Huddled, Confined
Distant thunder, cortex of thought
Awaken for a day, alive for a moment
thoughts centered, mind wanders
Aim of life, open minded death
I hear the footsteps of another
Head turns in the distance(nothing?)
Nothing is thought, nothing is lost

Up and down, outward knowledge
Inward insanity, Downward spiral
Sensation of the spine, cold and alive
Brain creates feeling, heart kills my thought
Darkened as I thought I was
Alive as I truly am, let me feel alone
for one more day, one last moment
