The Snake

The snake slithered slowly into the garden of light
Two lovers caressed each other with sensual delight
The serpent guided slowly by the smell of gratifying death
The lovers groaned loudly through tired breath
As the lovers rolled in the high grass to feel the ecstasy
Performing an act of love, creating an eternal legacy
The serpent attacks, injecting its potent venom
The act is complete and away eludes the phantom
